After School Activities
Main School
A supervised self-service tea is provided between the end of school and 4.20pm for pupils staying for after school activities. All children are encouraged to make healthy choices and to finish their tea with a piece of fruit. Before leaving for their clubs, the children wash up.
Clubs run from 4.20 - 5.20pm. A wide selection of activities is offered, varying from term to term, ensuring there is something of interest to each child.
Children going home immediately after their club are collected from the Old Hall, with parents/carers signing their children out.
Those staying after 5.20pm have the opportunity to read, play quietly or do their prep in a classroom adjoining the Old Hall. Parents/carers collect their children from that classroom, signing them out as they leave.
Treetops - Early Years
The Treetops After School care starts with a short children's television programme until 4.00pm, followed by tea and then activities. These include construction puzzles, board games, drawing and colouring, cutting and sticking and home corner. Weather permitting, the children spend some time playing outside.
Older Treetops children will be offered the opportunity to participate in activities such as ballet, recorder and Spanish at an appropriate level.
