'Eggsellent' support for the Air Ambulance

Duncombe pupils raised more than £350 for the Herts Air Ambulance when they participated in an Easter egg decorating contest and held a cake sale. This brings the total the school has raised for the charity to almost £2,000. Jewelled eggs, comedy eggs, character eggs and many other designs were submitted for the competition which was organised by one of the school houses, Hatfield. The teacher in charge of Hatfield house, Mrs Antoniou, commented: "Some 160 eggs were decorated; the competition generated a great deal of eggcitement and judging was eggstremely hard!"
