Haiti Appeal

The Duncombe community wanted to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake. On 3 February everyone assembled in the playground around a map of Haiti and covered the map with coins brought from their pocket money and piggy banks, contributed by families and staff and raised by a cake sale instigated by five of the pupils. The Rev Jo Loveridge from All Saints' Church addressed a special assembly and led us in a prayer and the singing of 'He's got the whole world in His hands' around the map. So far, over £1,300 has been raised!
