Toddle Waddle 2009

The sun shone on the toddlers of the Treetops nursery at Duncombe when they took part in the national Toddle Waddle in aid of the Meningitis Trust. The two and three year olds, accompanied by parents and staff, toddled their way three times round the Main School playground wearing duck head gear and carrying balloons with the charity’s logo.

Nursery nurse and organiser of the event, Lorraine Downes, was delighted with the result. ‘Everyone enjoyed the Waddle and the generosity of all the sponsors is wonderful. The total will be well over £2,000 which is brilliant. This is a charity very relevant to the young children in our care'.
