As we build towards Remembrance Sunday this weekend, Duncombe have certainly been reflecting on how we can help those around us in a number of different ways.
Upper School Assembly, held at Holy Trinity Church on Monday, focused on William Wilberforce the great Abolitionist and the lesser known supporter Thomas Clarkson.
The whole school then experienced a wartime themed lunch on Wednesday. The restaurant was dressed with war memorabilia and the children experienced a menu of leek and potato soup, meat and potatoes and rock cakes to name but a few choices.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the change of menu.
