IAPS Chess finalist
Lucas of Year 4 represented Duncombe at the National IAPS Chess championships recently.
This involved a two day tournament hosted in London against competitors from across the UK. He played 9 matches in total, each of an hour in length and came out with 2nd place in the U9 section. This is a tremendous outcome and one which he can be rightly proud of.
Our membership of IAPS sees us with a number of national and regional finalists over the past two years and Lucas has carried that mantel on for us again here.
