We value our links with the community and enjoy looking for ways to work in union with each other

Our children raise money for charities of their choice through our House system and we host a number of community events.

Pupils are assigned to one of three Houses in the Summer term of Reception year for when they join the Main School in Year 1 – Woburn, Hatfield or Knebworth House and they keep the affiliation for the rest of their time here.

Each term one House nominates a charity and then money is raised throughout the term through various activities all arranged by the children themselves.

Once all the monies have been collected, a presentation assembly is held and a representative from the charity comes into collect the cheque and talk to the children about how the money will be spent.

In previous years we have supported a range of local and national charities such as RNLI, RSPCA, Isabel Hospice, the Brain Tumour Charity, Rooprai Spinal Trust and the Willow Foundation. The pupils have organised cinema nights, raffles and numerous competitions, planted bulbs around the school and staffed stalls at our May and Christmas Fairs to support their charities.

We create links early with future parents by holding events, such as our weekly Treetop Toddler Group, where mums and tots can pre-book a place free of charge to come along and take part in a themed play session. To find out more or book a place contact our admissions registrar:

We also like to host events of a different nature such as our Teddy Bear Tea Party, which we host in our woodland area to create a magical event and captivate our youngest audience through, music, sensory and creative activity.
