Wednesday 19th September, 2018
7:00pm — 9:00pm
Duncombe School are proud to host ‘Meet the Heads’ – an evening of discussion and debate with the Head Teachers from a number of local leading independent schools on Wednesday 19th September from 7.00pm – 9.00pm.
The event will be a round-table discussion similar in style to the BBC’s Question Time, where the Head Teachers will answer questions in front of an audience on a variety of topics concerning parents and their children ahead of the secondary schools applications season.
This informal evening is designed to assist parents with making an informed decision about the next steps in their child’s education. The expert panel of Head Teachers is confirmed as:
Mr Matthew Burke — Mount House
Mrs Jo Cameron — Queenswood School
Mr Martin Collier — Haileybury
Mr Paulo Durán — St. Edmund’s College
Mr Bill Toleman — Bishop’s Stortford College
Following the panel discussion, there will be refreshments and an opportunity for you to speak to the Head Teachers and their school admissions teams.
We are encouraging questions to be put forward to the panel by email to firstname.lastname@example.org on the following topics by Tuesday 11th September:
- Single-sex vs. co-educational schools
- Technology and education
- Social media and pupil well-being
- Academic vs. well-rounded
- What is the most important question to ask a Head Teacher?
Free tickets for the ‘Meet the Heads’ event can be booked through our EventBrite listing at http://bit.ly/meettheheads.
We look forward to seeing you, on what we hope will be an informative and interesting evening. For any questions regarding this event, please contact our Marketing Manager, Autumn Pritchard-Barrett at email@example.com or by telephone on 01992 528 041.
