We hold various Open Mornings each term, where our Upper School pupils will give you a tour of the school, you can see our classrooms in action and get to meet the Headmaster.
We can also arrange a private tour for you to see our school. There is an option to do this in the booking form further down the page.

Experience the wonders of space at our Open Morning on 7th March
We are delighted to welcome the Wonderdome Planetarium along for our Space-themed Open Morning on Thursday 7th March.
Wonderdome provides amazing educational planetarium shows that create a unique learning experience, allowing children to experience the wonders, sights and sounds of the universe in a unique 360-degree mobile experience.
You and your child will learn amazing facts about our solar system and beyond, including taking a flying visit to and learning information about our incredible neighbouring planets. Is it possible to live on them? And what makes Planet Earth so special that life thrives here? Why is the moon so important, and why were ancient civilisations so fascinated by the night sky?
Discover what Duncombe School can offer your child
At our Open Mornings you can discover the opportunities a Duncombe education can offer your family. The Open Morning will take place from 9.45am to 11.30am, and you will be accompanied on your tour of the school by our confident and engaging Year 6 pupils.
You will have the opportunity to meet some of our staff and see lessons in action, such as the interactive science lessons provided by Labtots, our fantastic pre-school science partner, which we provide for our children every Thursday throughout the term. You will also be able to view our excellent facilities, including our science lab, well-stocked library, all-weather astro-turf for sports, and our specialist Forest School setting, known as The Dell.
Our Open Mornings often take on a specific theme, allowing you the opportunity to see how we add-value to the curriculum, and how we take traditional subjects such as maths and science and make them engaging and fun. That’s why we are especially pleased to welcome the Wonderdome Planetarium on Thursday 7th March, for our Space-themed morning.
After the tour, there will be an opportunity to meet and chat with our Headmaster, Mr Phelan and find out why we have been ranked as ‘outstanding’ in all areas by the School Inspection Service.
We look forward to welcoming you.
