Holiday Club

Every day is different and full of fun for all children aged 2-11 years at Holiday club

Children enjoy fun sessions with their friends at our holiday clubs.

Duncombe’s Holiday Club operates across the main School holidays (Christmas, Easter and Summer). Dates of the Holiday Club vary each year and we make these available as early as possible to our parents. As some of our families have family members staying with them in the holiday periods, we are happy to open our Holiday Club doors to these family members from 2-11 years, too!

The day is split up into 4 sessions and you can book as many sessions as you need, sessions are as follows

  • Early Bird Club, 8am-9am
  • Morning activity session, 9am-noon
  • Afternoon activity session, 1pm-4pm
  • Tea and care, 4pm-6.30pm

We feel that at Holiday Club our children should be able to come and enjoy fun activities while socialising with friends. The children are offered a variety of free choice and structured activity throughout the day, that are age appropriate.

The activity schedule for Holiday Club is shared before the end of each term allowing sufficient time for our parents to choose appropriate sessions and return to our Wrap Around Care Co-ordinator.

The Holiday Club is organised and run by Duncombe staff and assisted by additional personnel well known to the school, such as student teachers.

Holiday Club Nutrition

For children attending morning activity session we ask that they bring a fruit and for children attending for a full day we ask them to bring a packed lunch adhering to Duncombe’s healthy eating policy.
