On Tuesday, Year 6 had the opportunity to work with a former parent to develop their entrepreneurial skills by creating a lemonade business for the day.

The children tasted existing lemonades on the market, to determine their USP and wrote a SWOT analysis to help them create a successful business. The groups all had assigned tasks from accountant to drink maker, giving them an insight into the running of a company.

In the afternoon, the rest of the school came and bought the lemonade which had been made. Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed the event and I know some of them have been enthused to hopefully apply for the next round of Dragons’ Den!
