9th May 2022Congratulations to Chef Michael who completed his charity skydive last Saturday which had been cancelled on several occasions due to poor weather conditions. Year 4 Visit Holy Trinity Church
15th November 2021On Monday 8th November, Year 4 visited Holy Trinity Church, Bengeo. The Reverend Thompson welcomed us and explained the importance of symbols in Christianity. Murderous Maths Talk at Queenswood.
27th June 2019A handful of Year 5 and 6 pupils, went to Queenswood this week, to listen to Kjartan Poskitt, author of the Murderous Maths series, speak about the exciting world of Maths. Robotics Challenge Team
29th April 2019Four of Duncombe’s Upper School children took part in the recent Haileybury Robotic Challenge. Natural History Museum Trip for Year 3
29th April 2019As part of Year 3's Science topic ‘Animals, Including Humans’, they visited the Natural History Museum in Tring. Grow tall little seeds
19th May 2017Two weeks ago all the children planted runner bean seeds and sunflower seeds. Over the course of the next four weeks we will be using our observational skills to record all the changes that happen to the seeds. We hope that they will all grow!! Maths with a twist!
19th May 2017This morning Yr1 children were working alongside their Yr6 buddies. They were all involved in a maths workshop put together by Mrs Takiwara. 28th April 2017On Tuesday, Year 5 went on a Science field trip to Colchester Zoo where the children had a very interesting minibeast classification workshop and exploration time of the zoo looking at different vertebrates and invertebrates. Celebrating Chinese New Year
